uh, yea — standards
so I was happy to figure out the spacing issue — even if it means that
I am still not the html/css guru of my dreams! But now, after viewing
it on various browsers, I feel the pain.
Mozilla, Mozilla-Firebird and IE all render the right-side menu at
different widths so that means my spacing is not uniform. I’m thinking
that it deals with my change to using em’s as the font size unit of
measure but still using px for all margins and paddings.
More experiments to follow.
_Update_: em values seem to have done the trick – it provides a more
uniform gap across the different browsers. I’ve also had some more fun
with the badges from the wonderful “//gtmcknight”:http://gtmcnight.com/buttons site.
