svn is *nice*
Just got done doing the initial import of around 2gig of media files for the
“WorldForge”:http://www.worldforge.org media repository and I must say that “Subversion”:http://subversion.tigris.org is very nice.
Importing files was very straightforward and I even had a chance to test the
ability to move directories as I mis-typed one of the folder names.
Since they already have a debian package built, installing was a breeze
but I’m still working on getting the password file access tight.
All in all a fairly smooth transition – now for some sanity tests in the
form of checkout/commit thrashing to see how it holds up.
