Cable 1 DSL 0

Tonight we are in the middle of the first thunderstorm of the season – well, it’s not technically the first but it’s the first one after Memorial Day which most people consider to be the start of Summer.

Anywho, so, tonight is a nice boomer-n-lightning show – plenty of flashes and low drawn out rumbles, the kind of storm that we often open the curtains and pull-up a couple of chairs to watch it roll by. Tonight I wanted to try and get some work done after spending most of yesterday sleeping off who-knows-what invaded my intestines and the associated malaise that comes from it, but nope – nada – no-way … it seems my newly installed Verizon DSL is offline and guess what hookup I switched most of my computers over to !

Now I know I can just change some configs and point them to the cable connection but I think I’ll take this as a sign to go to bed early and start the day hopefully fresh.

So, after round one the score is Verizon DSL 0, Comcast Cable 1.
