missed opportunity?
Just found out that someone I know got a job that I was offered but I had turned down because I took the “onsite only” criteria at face value.
So either they made another pass thru the candidate list with looser criteria or I should have pushed back a bit – my ego will be choosing the former for the next couple of days until I get over this.
And yes, I know my boss reads this sometimes, but I think even he would have listened to the offer from this company :)
But I have to say the person they did hire is a perfect fit for the job!
