My $dayjob is doing Release Engineering for Mozilla where I help the team manage the servers that compile, test and distribute the code behind Firefox, Thunderbird and other software
The rest of the hours you will find me either knitting (yes, I knit) or helping media folks understand and better use the technology they have available. For example: Leo Laporte (his servers), Chris Pirillo (bots and tools), Heather Gold (web) and others
I'm also working on a personal desktop/dashboard for the information flow that modern Social Software has created. This project I've named Palala which, according to Wikipedia
Palala is derived from Lephalale (Sotho), which means "one that inundates"
where my goal is to provide some sort of rules based dashboard where a persons communications can flow and be prioritized based on status (offline, dnd, available) and connectivity (mobile, desktop)
